Binance Says Bye-Bye to NFTs on Exchange
It’s the End of an Era for NFTs on Binance
So, Binance woke up one day and decided it was time to give non-fungible tokens (NFTs) the boot from their exchange. Yup, you heard that right! They’ve announced they’re packing up the NFT management and relocating it to their self-custodial wallet, aptly named the Binance Wallet. Why? To make the NFT holders’ lives a little easier, or so they say, giving them greater access to the mysterious world of Web3 and the nifty decentralized features out there.
Last Call for NFTs on the Exchange!
Mark your calendars folks! If you’ve got any transferable NFTs hanging out on Binance, you’ve got until July 3 to rescue them. After that, they’ll be as accessible as a unicorn in a snowstorm. And for all you non-transferable NFT aficionados—don’t despair! Binance Academy is swooping in to save the day with a PDF certificate of course completion. Because nothing says “I’m a pro” like a fancy PDF!
What’s Going On in the NFT Wonderland?
Looks like Binance isn’t alone in this NFT exodus. More exchanges are winding down their support for NFTs, focusing their energy on other sparkly tokens instead. Binance joined the ranks of exchanges like Kraken, which said goodbye to their NFT marketplace back in February 2025. And let’s not forget about OpenSea, who decided to stop supporting BNB Smart Chain-native NFTs back in August 2023. It’s like a mass migration, but for NFTs!
Money Back for NFT Withdrawals!
But wait, there’s good news! Binance is offering up two sweet promos for NFT withdrawal fee reimbursements for a whole month. The first deal covers general NFT withdrawal fees for those non-CR7 NFTs. The second deal caters to fans of CR7 NFTs. Up to 100,000 lucky users will be chosen to receive a reimbursement, getting credited with 1 USDC for their legendary NFT withdrawals by July 3rd. Not too shabby, right?
Where’s the NFT Market Headed?
The NFT market hasn’t been on a peachy ride lately. Many renowned NFT collections are still trying to rebound from their dramatic fall since the summer of 2022. For instance, CryptoPunks, the heavyweight champ of NFT collections by market cap, is currently trading at 30.9 ETH—a whopping 61% drop from its glorious all-time high of 80.9 ETH back in July 2022! Ouch!
Bored Ape Yacht Club’s Sad Symphony
And speaking of drops, let’s take a peek at the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Their floor price is chilling at 7.9 ETH, which is a jaw-dropping 93% decline from the extravagant 128 ETH seen back in May 2022. Talk about a tough crowd in the NFT universe!
